Mark was born in Boise, ID. but has lived most his life in Utah. His love for country music was evident at a very early age. "I used to listen to all of the "Old timers" Marty Robbins, Jim Reeves, Little Jimmy Dickens to name a few". Prior to the formation of the Band in 2005, Mark Owens had been singing professionally and competing vocally across the Western states for over 12 years. In the year 2000 he won the Utah State title in the Pro-sing National Singing Contest. He’s also competed in the Colgate Country Showdown which eventually took him to Nashville as he continued moving up the winning ladder. As Mark has been experiencing more and more success with his tremendous vocal gift, he continues to give back to his community by performing and participating in benefit concerts and charity events. Mark loves to mix with his fans and thrives on the energy of performing live for audiences throughout Utah. When you hear Mark you’ll understand why so many that have heard him consider him to be one of the finest vocalists in the country music scene today.
Matt has been an incredibly solid player and performer for the Band. Being a tremendously gifted slide guitar player, he switches from lead to rhythm to slide on the fly throughout each performance. Matt has played professionally for many years having played a wide variety of music styles. He’s been used as a hired gun in many varied studio recording sessions and enjoys writing his own songs and recording them in his spare time. Matt is not only a great player in his own right, but also a very entertaining performer. Once you’ve seen and heard Matt let loose on one of his many guitar solos you will understand why his talent is in such high demand here in the Salt Lake Valley.
A recipient of a music scholarship to the University of Utah, he has become proficient on multiple instruments and mastered many musical genres. Doug has toured throughout the Western United States and Canada and spent a number of years in musical theater playing in many of broadways hottest shows. In addition, he has worked with and recorded for Nashville's Pamela Lind, Boots Randolph (the Yakety Sax Man), and has played “unplugged” radio performances as well as showcasing with the London television star, Nyk Fry. Doug’s solid feel as a bass player helps give the band it’s driving force and keeps audiences on their feet throughout the band‘s various shows.
